Palliative Care

Palliative care encompasses a holistic approach to healthcare. It focuses on managing symptoms, providing support, and enhancing the quality of life for patients facing serious illnesses.

Palliative care is delivered by a dedicated multidisciplinary team of palliative consultants, specialised nurses, and rehabilitation experts. The team also collaborates with community services to ensure comprehensive support for patients’ diverse needs.

Our Palliative Care Services: Enhancing Lives and Comfort

We guide our patients in expressing their desires and goals for future care, including making complex decisions. Respecting their autonomy, we help them outline their preferences for care.

Collaboration is vital to us. We work closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care for our patients, providing them with the best possible support.

We assist patients and their families in making well-informed decisions regarding treatment options and care preferences through thoughtful discussions.

We actively listen, engage in discussions, and address the psycho-social challenges faced by patients and their families. Our goal is to provide the necessary support to help them navigate through their journey.

Our team is dedicated to effectively managing pain and other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and constipation. Our aim is to improve patients' comfort and maintain their overall quality of life.

You may consult your primary physician, or any healthcare provider involved in your care. They will assist you in referring to our dedicated palliative care team.
